ZS Selected by AstraZeneca as Strategic Partner for Five-Year Sales Operations Initiative

ZS to provide consulting services and technology to support AstraZeneca sales force planning and strategy in the U.S.

EVANSTON, Ill. Nov 4, 2014 — Global biopharmaceutical company AstraZeneca has selected ZS, a global leader in sales and marketing consulting, as a strategic partner to support end-to-end sales force planning and deployment across the company’s entire U.S. commercial organization.

ZS will help streamline AstraZeneca’s go-to-market strategy in its contracted five-year term. The sales and marketing consultancy will evaluate critical business processes, build advanced technology solutions and leverage its global operating model with a focus on consulting, operations and technology. Dedicated teams based in the U.S. and India will co-create solutions with AstraZeneca’s commercial effectiveness group and lead various project elements, including advanced analytics, sales force design and ongoing sales force operations.
