ZS has been named the recipient of the 2026 Databricks C&SI Life Sciences Partner of the Year Award for the second consecutive year. Presented on June 15 at the annual Databricks Data + AI Summit, the award recognizes ZS’s work helping life sciences companies accelerate insights, strengthen data management and reduce infrastructure costs.

ZS and Databricks continue to advance life sciences data intelligence

Through their collaboration, ZS and Databricks, the Data and AI company, help enterprise organizations build data intelligence using the Databricks platform. Since 2020, ZS has partnered with Databricks to help life sciences firms use AI to explore large datasets and accelerate innovation across data science and data engineering workloads. Companies working with ZS and Databricks report productivity gains of 30%-70% while reducing infrastructure costs by an average of 60%.

ZS brings more than 40 years of experience helping life sciences companies optimize decision-making by transforming complex data into actionable insights. Swati Gokhale, principal and head of strategic alliances and investments at ZS, said clients benefit from ZS’s deep domain expertise in life sciences, helping them turn complex data into actionable insights across development, launch and patient support.

“This recognition is an honor and reflects the strength of our collaboration with Databricks, as well as the impact we’re delivering together for life sciences firms ,” Gokhale said. “As we look ahead, we’re committed to continuing to partner with Databricks to power real-time insights, accurate decisions and better health outcomes for patients around the world.”

The award also builds on ZS’s broader collaboration with Databricks to support data harmonization for healthcare and life sciences organizations. Together with Databricks, ZS helps companies connect, govern and activate enterprise data more effectively at scale.

“The most successful organizations today are those that can turn raw data into real business impact. ZS, our 2026 C&SI Life Sciences Partner of the Year, stands out in helping customers make that leap,” said Kori O’Brien, SVP, Global Partnerships at Databricks. “Their ability to execute complex transformations on the Databricks platform helps our joint customers move faster and put AI to work in meaningful, measurable ways.”

Clinical Data Hub helps modernize clinical trial data at scale

The collaboration recognized by Databricks also continues to produce new offerings for life sciences organizations. ZS announced the Clinical Data Hub (CDH), a solution built on Databricks to help life sciences organizations modernize how they ingest, harmonize, govern and analyze clinical trial data at scale. CDH unifies structured and unstructured clinical data into a single, secure foundation that supports regulatory submissions and advanced analytics in parallel. By combining ZS’s clinical and regulatory expertise with Databricks’ data and AI platform, organizations can reduce data fragmentation while improving lineage, auditability and speed to insight.
