Abhijit is currently in an emeritus role after 30 years of helping ZS clients and ZS itself grow. He headed up ZS’s India CECs from 2014 to 2017 from the New Delhi office, building on his first India experience from 2004 to 2007, when he launched and shaped ZS’s first office in Pune. Aside from his India stints, Abhijit has worked with ZS clients across the U.S., Europe and Japan, with stints in ZS offices in Evanston, Ill., Paris and Princeton, N.J.
Over the course of his career, Abhijit has helped clients become more effective in sales through levers such as incentive compensation, business intelligence, data management, customer relationship management and sales force micro-targeting. His expertise includes the development of processes, people capabilities and technology systems in these areas.
Prior to joining ZS in 1987, Abhijit worked for five years on operational systems for enterprise and government: Examples include the 911 system for the city of Miami, and manufacturing and commercial systems for Fisher-Price Toys.
Abhijit holds a master’s degree in management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
