Role
Amey joined ZS in 2013 and has worked with a wide array of organizations in the life sciences, health plans, medical devices, financial services, transportation and manufacturing domain. He focuses on incentive compensation (IC) issues and leads ZS’s human-centered incentive design offering. Amey is also a certified sales compensation professional (CSCP).
Expertise
Amey is an expert in incentive design and administration and has personally helped over 100 organizations design their incentive programs to motivate field personnel. His experience with incentives spans from 20-member key account manager (KAM) teams in healthcare to 10,000-plus frontline seller teams in consumer packaged goods (CPG). He also manages several IC administration programs and has a deep understanding of sales performance, compensation and data reporting issues. He also has experience with IC-adjacent areas such as customer segmentation, targeting, sizing, alignment and call plan design, which help him understand the overall organizational dynamics and the impact of these areas on incentives further downstream.
Amey has authored ZS thought leadership content, including work on human-centered incentive design—a concept that he conceived and brought to life with many ZS clients. He is also a frequent speaker at WorldatWork® conferences and has authored articles for their publication.
Education
Amey has a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Ramaiah Institute of Technology in Bangalore, India, with a specialization in operations research and economics.
