Role



Asheesh leads ZS’s global patient strategy and services practice, with a primary focus on helping pharmaceutical clients evolve their commercial models to be more care-centric—ultimately ensuring patients achieve the best possible outcomes from their therapies. His work centers on developing care enablement solutions that engage consumers throughout their healthcare journey: from driving diagnosis, to ensuring timely and seamless therapy onboarding, to delivering ongoing services that reduce friction for patients, caregivers and healthcare providers.

 

Additionally, Asheesh leads ZS’s product and platform business for pharma medical affairs, spanning the full life cycle of medical strategy—guiding planning efforts, execution and driving measurable impact.

Expertise



Asheesh has collaborated with clients in challenging business models and reimagining business processes. He’s delivered changes in productivity and effectiveness while growing clients’ capabilities via newer technology. He has led capability-building initiatives, including digital-only brand launch, automation and AI-enabled processes, organizational design and data management strategies.

Prior experience



Previously, Asheesh was the global industry leader for the life sciences and medical devices industries at Wipro. He led solutions and delivery teams, client relationships and industry consulting for a multimillion-dollar portfolio. Prior to Wipro, Asheesh was a sales and marketing practice leader and client business unit head at Cognizant, working closely with clients across a wide array of services and specializing in large transformation programs at the intersection of digital, data and AI. He also held a practice leader role with Unisys Consulting.

Education



Asheesh holds an MBA with a focus on business strategy and finance from the Indian Institute of Management Bengaluru. Asheesh also has an M.S. in computer science, with a focus on AI and neural networks, from Banaras Hindu University in Varanasi.
