Role



Carolyn is a leader in ZS’s strategy and transformation group, focused on transforming organizational capabilities. She is instrumental in developing ZS’s point of view on the next generation commercial model and re-imagining how organizations will need to evolve to stay relevant and deliver in a more predictive, preventative and personalized industry.

Expertise



Carolyn has worked with clients on global projects including organizational design, marketing excellence, launch strategy, customer experience design, competitive planning, marketing strategy and more. She has a particular passion for designing the capabilities needed to advance organizations to the next level, setting the ways of working and transforming how people and their organizations work. She focuses on specialty markets with a specific depth of knowledge in oncology and rare genetic disorders. Additionally, Carolyn has worked on over 50 different oncology molecules across 25-plus tumor types.

Prior experience



Prior to ZS, Carolyn worked in the mission operations team for the International Space Station program, designing the control systems for the space station’s robotic systems. Carolyn was also a professional musical theater performer, appearing in musicals such as Evita, 42nd Street, South Pacific and Lady Be Good in theaters across Canada.

Education



Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Manitoba, a Master of Science in space robotics from the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies and an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business with a major in marketing and integrative thinking.
