Doug leads ZS’s quantitative research expertise center, whose mission is to drive innovation in market research methods and to develop and disseminate best practices and procedures in quantitative market research.
During his career, Doug has developed new research methodologies and custom software applications in choice modeling, risk analysis, pricing, segmentation, message testing and survey analysis. Doug’s healthcare consulting experience spans all major therapeutic categories, covering both pharmaceuticals and medical devices. He has also worked extensively in other verticals, including telecommunications, package shipping, information technology and consumer goods.
Prior to ZS, Doug was a chief methodologist and business unit leader for several other leading market research and consulting organizations.
Doug has a bachelor’s in commerce and a master’s in economics from the University of Toronto, and a Ph.D. in economics with concentrations in econometrics and finance from the University of Pennsylvania.
