Giovana leads ZS’s commercial and industrials vertical and is focused on commercial strategy and transformation and sales effectiveness. Giovana helps her clients through large-scale sales force transformations from design through implementation.

Giovana has extensive experience operating in challenging commercial B-to-B environments across multiple geographies and industries. Her recent focus has been on creating value for clients by redesigning sales processes, applying advanced analytics and implementing best-in-class tools to accelerate growth. Originally from Brazil, she has worked in South America, Central America and North America in addition to Europe.

Prior experience



Giovana joined ZS in 2015 after spending more than 10 years with a Fortune 500 global retailer, where she held various roles across corporate functions including strategy, transformation, finance, sales operations, pricing, M&A and business development. During the last two years at her previous company, Giovana was the senior director of European sales operations and pricing, where she led all sales effectiveness and pricing initiatives including sales deployment, sales compensation, sales development, sales pipeline management and sales automation, as well as business intelligence and B-to-B pricing strategy and execution.

Education



Giovana holds an MBA with a focus on organizational leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and a B.S. in international business and trade, with honors, from Florida Atlantic University, where she was a Division I volleyball player. She also holds a computer science degree from UNICAMP’s Colegio Tecnico in Brazil.
