Jaideep is currently the chairman at ZS. He was ZS’s managing director and CEO from 2003 to 2012.
Jaideep has more than 25 years of experience in addressing sales and marketing issues for clients in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. His areas of expertise include sales and marketing strategy and effectiveness and multichannel marketing, and his assignments have included work in the United States, Canada, Australia, Mexico and various other countries.
Jaideep has long been involved in helping the pharma industry evolve its commercial models: “Mirroring” in the early days and customer-centric marketing in the recent past. He is now working on commercial models to address the rise of organized customers and the move to value-based healthcare.
Jaideep has had diverse roles at ZS, ranging from software development and mathematical modelling, to client service lead, to opening and leading the Princeton office and leading ZS’s pharmaceutical industry vertical.
Jaideep holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and an M.S. in industrial engineering and operations research from Columbia University. He also holds a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in New Delhi, India.
