As the leader of the marketing practice area, Jay is responsible for ensuring ZS is a best in class partner for helping clients accelerate and drive growth of products, services and portfolios.


Jay is a seasoned strategy consultant and marketing professional with 25 years of experience growing businesses across consumer products, financial services, hospitality, industrial products, consumer and B2B technology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices and many other categories.


Throughout his career, Jay developed and implemented marketing strategies for numerous brands, created roadmaps for growth, and trained companies on improved marketing processes (via marketing excellence and related programs). He has led engagements on segmentation, customer decision journey, experience design, integrated promotion planning, new product development, brand positioning and many others. He also has a particular focus on developing deep insights and marketing strategies and then pulling those strategies through to specific marketing actions that drive new growth.

Prior experience

Prior to joining ZS, Jay led Rosetta Consulting’s marketing strategy group—advising senior executives across industries while leading a 75-person consulting team. Prior to Rosetta, spent a number of years as a marketing strategy consultant at both Monitor Company and The Cambridge Group. 


Jay holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
