Karthik is a leader in ZS’s marketing services practice area, with a special focus on marketing and analytics. He is known for driving innovations in the space.
Karthik focuses primarily on marketing solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, helping clients develop and evolve product marketing strategies through the entire life cycle. His areas of expertise include opportunity assessment, forecasting, segmentation/market map, launch monitoring/analytics, predictive analytics to drive customer-centric marketing engagement, and optimization.
Before joining ZS in 2010, Karthik worked as a research scientist at IBM TJ Watson Research Center, where he led the development of award-winning applied operations research and decision support solutions for client engagements. He has filed multiple patents, published several high-quality journal articles and received multiple research accomplishment awards.
Karthik holds a Ph.D. from Purdue University with a specialization in operations research. He also holds an M.S. in industrial engineering from Purdue University and a B.E in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India.
