Kunal is a principal in ZS’s San Diego office and leads the travel and transportation practice area, where he supports clients in the airline, hospitality and car rental industries in commercial strategy and transformation engagements.
Over Kunal’s 10-plus years of consulting and industry experience, he has engaged with clients across the globe on a variety of commercial topics. While at ZS, Kunal helps companies in the travel industry enhance their sales and revenue management offerings and organizations, deploy and optimize their segment and channel strategies, and drive sales and revenue management effectiveness, which has resulted in significant and tangible margin improvement for them. Kunal is also closely engaged with the broader travel industry through participation in areas such as his membership in the HSMAI Revenue Management Board and as a contributor to the Forbes’ Aviation section.
Prior to joining ZS, Kunal worked at United Airlines in international revenue management, sales and distribution strategy, where he received the President’s Club award. He was also with another management consulting firm, where he supported numerous top-line-focused engagements across industries such as airlines, metals and mining, and building products.
Kunal holds an MBA from the London Business School, and a B.S. in marketing and operations management from Indiana University.
