Mazen’s global new product development and commercialization career spans the development cycle from market assessment through launch to maturity.


Mazen has more than 25 years of experience advising clients across multiple industries in Asia, Europe and the U.S., and works extensively on global market expansion and new product launches.




Mazen advises healthcare and life sciences industry clients on diverse issues related to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategy, including organizational design, post-merger integration, global product launch strategy, commercial model and customer experience design, and sales and marketing effectiveness. He has substantial experience developing commercialization strategies, typically relying on the effective integration of primary and secondary data. Mazen has also helped clients expand their operations and maximize commercial opportunities in global markets.



Prior experience

Before joining ZS in 2001, Mazen worked as a management consultant for global clients based in Europe, where he led engagements in the areas of product strategy, product portfolio management, new product development processes and organizational design.




Mazen holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business with concentrations in strategy and finance. He also earned an M.S. and B.S. in mechanical engineering.
