Mazen’s global career spans the entire new product development cycle, from market assessment to post-launch maturity.


As part of the leadership team at ZS, Mazen’s primary focus is on the development of supply chain and manufacturing solutions. He has over 25 years of experience working with clients across multiple industries in Asia, Europe and the United States, and works extensively on building resilience across the life sciences industry.


Mazen advises clients on diverse issues related to both development and implementation of commercial and supply chain strategy, including organizational design, post-merger integration, integrated business planning, global product launch strategy and customer experience design. He has substantial experience developing commercialization and expansion strategies through a balance of foundational industry practices and advanced use of data and analytics to drive efficiency and quality. Mazen has also helped clients expand their operations to maximize commercial opportunities in growth markets. 

Prior experience

Before joining ZS in 2001, Mazen worked as a management consultant for global clients based in Europe, where he led engagements in the areas of product strategy, product portfolio management, new product development processes and organizational design.


Mazen holds an MBA from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with concentrations in strategy and finance. He also holds an M.S. and B.S. in mechanical engineering.
