Michael has seven-plus years of U.S. managed markets experience from the consulting, PBM and pharma sides of the business.


Michael is a member of ZS’s managed care analytics practice within the global value and access space. He focuses on helping clients improve their contracting strategy, capabilities and analytics. Michael also leads the Veterans@ZS affinity group, which helps ZS recruit, retain, unite and develop talented people with valuable military experience, and helps translate that military experience into a successful career at ZS.


His area of expertise includes pre- and post-deal analytics, pharmacy network pricing, deal modeling, payer contracting strategy, and co-pay card strategy and design. Since joining ZS, Michael has helped multiple clients improve their overall managed care contracting strategies and capabilities.

Prior experience

Prior to joining ZS, Michael worked at Allergan as a manager on the pricing and market access team, focusing primarily on gross to net forecasting and effectively designing patient savings programs as a market access tool for current and launch products across multiple therapeutic areas in the U.S.


Michael’s other past work experience includes working at Express Scripts, where he worked on U.S. pharmacy network pricing for his clients and working at Forest Labs (now Allergan) in analyzing and processing rebates to improve the overall reimbursement contracting strategy with key payers and PBMs in the U.S.


Michael also has 10-plus years of experience serving in the U.S. military as a member of New Jersey Army Reserve National Guard. He is currently a captain with a finance battalion and serves in the role as the executive officer.


Michael received his bachelor’s of science in finance from Seton Hall University.
