Monte delivers strategy and transformation and growth marketing solutions to enhance business performance and deliver lasting value in the biopharma space. She consults with clients to understand challenges and opportunities throughout business and product life cycles, and collaborates with leadership across ZS to address complex business needs.


Monte is a member of the ZS Black and Hispanic Alliance and the ZS Women’s Leadership Initiative. 



Monte is an accomplished commercial leader and branding strategist with a unique background in business and law. She’s also a data-driven decision-maker who is known for strategic, creative problem-solving, and is the go-to person for “sculpting fog.”


She leverages a depth and breadth of experience in pharmaceutical commercialization across disciplines (such as strategy, marketing, medical education, market access, field leadership, patient services and market access) and product life cycle stages.



Prior to joining ZS, Monte gained experience across marketing and sales, and in providing legal counsel to emerging biotechnology companies on areas including promotion compliance, HIPAA and data privacy issues, Sunshine Act reporting, and fraud and abuse.


Other experience includes serving as the commercial lead and general manager for contract commercial organizations and marketing leadership, and working in product launch for in-line brands such as primary care and specialty pharmacies. She has additional experience in sales leadership, marketing research and business development.



Monte has a B.A in computer science and organizational behavior and management from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School in marketing and finance. She also has a J.D. from Temple University.
