Niroop is responsible for building global analytics capabilities for life sciences companies using cloud, big data, and AI and machine learning.

Niroop is a data and technology leader who routinely advises pharmaceutical clients to build enterprise analytics capabilities using modern technologies. Globally, he leads ZS’s big data center of excellence and the strategy and architecture group.

Niroop has a deep understanding of pharmaceutical data and processes, and in using technologies such as big data, AI and machine learning, and semantic search to build transformative solutions. He has worked across the globe and built cutting-edge machine learning solutions for commercial, medical, clinical, real-world data and research functions.

Prior to joining ZS, Niroop worked at Microsoft as a software engineer building next-generation CRM software for which he was granted a patent.

Niroop received an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Technology in computer science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
