Pete is passionate about building and bringing ZS’s unique digital customer experience solution to clients.


Pete is a global leader of ZS’s digital customer experience (DCE) practice. He helps clients optimize customer experience by developing and deploying integrated promotion strategies based on customer insights and preferences using cloud-based marketing technologies, digital capabilities, AI and machine learning. 


Pete has 25 years of consulting experience in the life sciences industry as well as telecommunications, consumer packaged goods, retail, nonprofit, hospitality and financial services industries. His primary area of expertise is the design, deployment and optimization of customer-centric business solutions across B2B and B2C companies to improve customer engagement and increase sales.

Prior experience

Before joining ZS, Pete spent eight years at Merkle, most recently as the chief strategy officer for the life sciences division. He launched Merkle’s life sciences practice in 2008 and captured six of the top 10 life sciences companies as clients. Pete also led relationships with key clients, including Procter & Gamble, AARP, Nike and Bose. Prior to Merkle, Pete was vice president of Health Products Research, a division of inVentiv Health, focusing on sales force size and structure, promotion response and optimization analyses, DTC optimization and territory alignments within the life sciences industry.​


Pete holds a Ph.D. in economics from Rutgers University with a concentration in econometrics.
