Scott has helped many clients identify business issues, shape strategy and motivate their teams to drive organizational effectiveness.


Scott co-leads the discovery service line at ZS, guiding the team in pursuing breakthrough science utilizing a mix of deep data, technology and AI to catalyze scientific innovation, accelerate drug discovery and improve the probability of R&D success.


Scott is an executive sponsor of ZS’s Black and Hispanic Alliance, an employee resource group with a mission of building awareness of the Black and Hispanic ZSer perspective in ways that contribute to shared goals, relationships and stakeholder commitments. In addition, Scott serves on ZS’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council.


Beyond leading significant areas of ZS’s business, much of Scott’s focus is in the area of commercial operations excellence, where he has helped clients achieve significant efficiencies and improvement through streamlining and enhancing their analytic capabilities and operational processes. He has been a faculty member at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management executive education program and has presented at numerous industry conferences.


Scott serves on the Chicago board of directors for the Positive Coaching Alliance, a national nonprofit with a mission of transforming youth sports to provide a positive character-building experience for all young athletes.

Prior experience

Over his 25+ year career, Scott has led many facets of ZS’s business, including practice areas, offices, capability groups and client relationships.


Scott holds an MBA from Stanford University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.
