As a leader in ZS’s private equity and middle market growth practice, Sean focuses on building commercial capabilities in the middle market to drive organic growth. He has partnered extensively with both sponsors and middle market leadership across sectors, particularly technology and software, business services, industrial manufacturing and distribution, and healthcare markets.

 

 

Sean’s extensive expertise encompasses a dedicated focus on client organizational capability-building, program management and tactical, pragmatic execution. His approach typically includes assessment and prioritization of growth strategies holistically and within key segments, detailed understanding of customer needs, segmentation, designing and sizing the commercial organization to scale, performance management, and key supporting programs to drive results (for example, talent management, incentive compensation and reporting). 

 

 

Beyond his decade-long leadership at ZS, Sean has served in a business development and sales operations leadership role for a B-to-B technology services firm. He also is vice chairman of the board for Minds Matter Chicago, a nonprofit focused on leveling the playing field for high-achieving first-generation and low-income students.

 

 

Sean holds an MBA with distinction from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, and a bachelor's degree in industrial and enterprise systems engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
