Background and experience
Art has led several practice areas within ZS, including forecasting and portfolio strategy, and most recently, our biosimilars center of excellence. Art has an extensive range of international forecasting and portfolio optimization experience that has evolved from working on pharmaceutical and healthcare industry projects in North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia and Africa. He is the author of the 2015 book “Forecasting for the Pharmaceutical Industry” and has written articles on forecasting for Pharmaceutical Executive. He has presented at the Pharmaceutical Management Sciences Association and the Pharmaceutical Market Research Group. He has conducted numerous forecast and portfolio management training sessions worldwide.
Before joining ZS, Art worked in the pharmaceutical industry. He was the international director of forecasting, pricing and market research at Roche and the director of sales strategy and analytics at Syntex. Art’s ZS assignments have included work in all the major and “pharmerging” pharmaceutical markets, as well as in more than 150 therapeutic areas.
