Cody Powers
Background and experience
Cody is a principal in ZS’s New York office, where he leads the portfolio and business development practice—helping clients address both “where to play” strategy and inorganic growth challenges.
Cody has over 13 years of experience in healthcare and life sciences consulting with companies of all stages and across a range of strategy issues, including corporate and portfolio strategy, business development and licensing and pipeline assessment. Cody has been a featured speaker at leading industry forums, including the BIO International Convention, LSX World Congress and Fierce Biotech events, as well as across major media outlets.
He has published extensively on COVID-19 vaccines and treatment since the beginning of the pandemic, in addition to supporting vaccine and treatment manufacturers on key decisions throughout. Cody has also appeared in several media outlets to discuss COVID-19 vaccine development.
Cody originally joined ZS in 2006 and later rejoined in 2016. Prior to rejoining, he was a consultant with both L.E.K. Consulting and the Frankel Group (now part of Huron Consulting).
