Doug Oettinger
Background and experience
Doug co-leads ZS’s global emerging pharma vertical and manages the São Paulo office, helping biotech firms optimize commercial strategy and operational performance. Doug has worked on pharmaceutical and healthcare industry issues in North America, South America, Europe and Asia since 1987. He has helped leading pharmaceutical firms address a broad spectrum of commercial management issues, including sales force design and deployment, incentives and performance management, customer valuation, segmentation, targeting and information management systems to support commercial operations.
Doug has served on ZS’s board, management committee, principal election committee and risk management committee. He also led the team that developed ZS’s ARTiS™ business intelligence offering. Doug has served as executive sponsor of ZS’s global IT team and as ZS’s Latin America practice leader.
