Giovana leads ZS’s commercial and industrials vertical, driving sales strategy, transformation and analytics to help clients achieve growth and sales force excellence. Giovana has extensive experience operating in challenging commercial B2B environments across multiple geographies and industries. Her recent focus has been on creating value for clients by redesigning sales processes, applying advanced analytics and implementing best-in-class tools to accelerate growth.

Originally from Brazil, she has worked in South America, Central America and North America in addition to Europe. Giovana also serves as faculty for Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management executive education program, where she teaches omnichannel orchestration and CRM ROI for the B2B Sales Force Strategy & Effectiveness in the Digital Age program.

Giovana joined ZS in 2015 after spending more than 10 years with a Fortune 500 global retailer, where she held various roles across corporate functions including strategy, transformation, finance, sales operations, pricing, M&A and business development. During the last two years at her previous company, Giovana was the senior director of European sales operations and pricing, where she led all sales effectiveness and pricing initiatives including sales deployment, sales compensation, sales development, sales pipeline management and sales automation, as well as business intelligence and B2B pricing strategy and execution.
