Background and experience
Komal directs end-to-end strategy and execution planning teams as the leader of the immunology vertical within ZS’s strategy and transformation practice. She brings teams together to prioritize R&D, supply chain, commercialization and digital-led execution to accelerate and simplify the delivery of innovative drugs to patients. As a global expert, she leads a diverse team across regions to stay ahead of global market trends.
Komal is a thought leader in global commercial planning, with a focus on marketing, launch planning, portfolio and brand planning. She has a deep background in digital-focused disruption. She excels at cross-functional team alignment and delivering strategic solutions across clinical, medical, market access and commercial functions.
Since joining ZS in 2011, Komal has worked across regions and therapeutic areas, including immunology, cardiology, respiratory, diabetes, renal-hepatic and oncology. Komal held strategic and operational excellence roles in the digital and technology group at Oracle before going back to business school to continue her education.
