Piers Platt
Background and experience
Piers is a leader in ZS’s marketing and insights practices. He works extensively with firms to uncover insights that drive customer-centered growth strategies. He has supported companies across multiple industries, including pharmaceuticals, financial services, high-tech and consumer products and retail. He has developed and implemented marketing strategies for numerous brands, created roadmaps for growth and trained companies on improved marketing processes. Piers also leads engagements on portfolio strategy, segmentation, new product development and digital transformation.
Before joining ZS in 2020, Piers held a position as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development at OppenheimerFunds, where he guided the firm’s distribution and marketing teams through a customer-focused strategic planning and reorganization effort. Before that, he was an Associate Partner at Rosetta Consulting, where he developed marketing strategies for brands including Merck, Johnson & Johnson, BlackRock, SalesForce and Timberland, and led the creation of Rosetta’s digital roadmap offering.
