Background and experience

Scott is a senior commercial leader at ZS, where he serves as director of platform sales for emerging pharma and midmarket clients and leads ZAIDYN®’s business development representative (BDR) team. He is responsible for driving platform growth, shaping go-to-market (GTM) strategy and building scalable sales and enablement models that support life sciences organizations at critical stages of commercialization.

Scott leads and coaches a team of five GTM platform sellers and oversees a growing BDR function that supports emerging pharma, medical affairs, medtech and large pharma. He owns head of sales-level accountability for revenue strategy and execution, including quota setting, pipeline governance, forecasting discipline and complex enterprise deal execution. He also leads ZAIDYN’s Demo Center of Excellence, standardizing demo narratives and enabling team-selling across sales, product and delivery team.

A key focus of Scott’s role is scaling infrastructure and capability. He designed ZAIDYN’s outbound and BDR operating model, including ICP segmentation and handoff frameworks, and partners with leadership to deliver GTM learning and development. He is widely recognized as a subject matter expert in omnichannel orchestration and commercial execution.

In 2025, he closed nine new ZAIDYN platform deals, generating $6 million in new ARR and $20 million in total contract value.

Before joining ZS, he was director of sales at Aktana. He began his career in pharmaceutical sales at Eli Lilly and Boehringer Ingelheim.
