Suresh Ramanan
Background and experience
Suresh has been in the technology and consulting services industry since 1992. He has worked across multiple industry domains including life sciences, banking, retail and airlines.
Suresh joined ZS in July 2012 as the India business technology head. He is responsible for growing the India business technology capabilities by supporting the business and operational functions of business technology in India, from presales to delivery. He also champions new business technology innovations around big data and mobility, and introduces delivery capabilities across new technology spaces.
Before ZS, Suresh worked with Cognizant’s analytics and information management practice for nine years, heading the unit specifically for global life sciences clients, with both delivery and P&L responsibilities. During his stint as an organizational leader at Cognizant, Suresh managed clients and engagements across North America, Europe and APAC in the information management and analytics space. With a strong knowledge and implementation of global outsourcing models, Suresh provided strategic thought leadership to top-20 life sciences organizations.
Prior to Cognizant, Suresh also played managerial and technical roles within many large multinational organizations such as Citibank, Reckitt Benckiser and British Airways.
