ZSer celebrates fatherhood while balancing professional commitments

We recognize the importance of both parents being present and engaged during these pivotal moments. Offering paternity leave not only encourages active fatherhood but also helps balance caregiving responsibilities—empowering women to pursue their career aspirations and promoting equity in the workplace and beyond.

One recent father and ZSer, Rohit Ollupalli, a consultant in our Pune office, shared his experience.

“I was very pleased to learn that paternity leave can be availed for up to 10 weeks in India based on tenure—and that I had the flexibility to plan it in a way that really worked for my family,” Rohit says. “The process was hassle-free. I connected with the HR team, and they took care of everything.”

Reflecting on his time at ZS, Rohit adds, “ZS’s work culture is very organic—it’s not something forced. The empathy and support among team members fosters a truly collaborative and caring environment. That culture means a lot to me.”

We understand that juggling professional and family responsibilities is challenging. That’s why our support for working fathers is designed to ensure they can be fully present during key family milestones. “It’s so important that new parents use these leaves to their full extent—and that ZS continues offering this kind of support,” Rohit shares. “My team was incredibly understanding and always offered help when I needed it.”

He also highlighted how ZS’s connected and flexible work model helped him stay involved at home. “The flexibility in working hours allowed me to be there for my family—and especially my partner—to make sure she wasn’t overwhelmed. There are so many moving parts when caring for a newborn, but paternity leave and the flexible model gave me the opportunity to be there when it mattered most.”
