ZS tech manager reflects on her journey with the platform development team
ZS platform experts are creating innovative technologies for healthcare and beyond. In the fall of 2021, ZS launched ZAIDYN®, an AI-powered analytics platform designed to help life sciences companies drive real change. From R&D to commercialization, ZAIDYN helps organizations make critical, data-driven decisions.
We caught up with Siddhi Bahl, a test engineering manager on the ZAIDYN team in India. Siddhi reflects on her journey at ZS and shares insights about what makes the platform team—and her role—so meaningful.
“I think about all the wonderful opportunities I’ve had to learn, mentor and make a difference where it counts. I thank all the inspirational ZS leaders who relied on me to lead and complete challenging projects,” Siddhi says.
When asked what excites her most, she explains:
“At ZS, I can always learn something new. Good performance is recognized, and everyone is encouraged to evolve. I try to learn from my colleagues and integrate their perspectives into the bigger picture.”
Where passion changes lives
Siddhi has always been passionate about technology and innovation. “Technology is continuously evolving. Innovation is all around us,” she says. “A career in tech means being on the ground floor of exciting new products and solutions. I’m proud to have been part of ZS’s product journey from the early days to ZAIDYN.”
Throughout her time at ZS, Siddhi has contributed to a wide range of applications and addressed challenges for configurators and field users, using the latest technologies such as big data, AWS, Agile methodologies and data analytics.
She’s also paved the way for others, holding many “firsts” in her career:
• First woman manager from ZS’s Platform Development Group in India
• First to represent ZS at Agile Quest, an initiative by Unicom to recognize India’s top Agile professionals
• Bronze medalist at the 2016 Agile Olympiad
Siddhi also participated in Path to Principal (P2P), a leadership development program by Women@ZS that supports women managers in India as they build and grow their leadership skills.
She credits her career growth to ZS’s culture and leadership:
