Global clinical trial requirements increasingly emphasize a sponsor’s responsibility to identify, mitigate and manage GCP quality risk. The management of risks across a sponsor’s portfolio, processes and vendors is a complex endeavor. As a result, organizations are diligently searching for the right technology vendor to help in their risk-based quality management (RBQM).

Considering the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) updated guidelines giving more importance to the entire QMS, IDC MarketScape recently assessed eight life sciences vendors in risk-based monitoring. Vendors whose services “must have been significantly evaluated for the potential to engage clients within the target IDC MarketScape space” were considered in the study. In its assessment, IDC MarketScape placed ZS in the Leaders category, citing its confluence of consulting, technology and operations resulting in a complete solution that enables RBQM at the study and enterprise level. According to the report, “Consider ZS when seeking a customized technology platform and consulting capabilities to enable enterprise-wide portfolio and study-level performance, build strategy to bring oversight to QMS processes, deep expertise on RBQM and change management, as well as CM services.”
