Around the world, our people are passionate about creating a positive impact for our clients and the community. Despite the challenges this year presented, ZSers have shown their resilience, using that passion to garner a year of tremendous growth. To celebrate the hard work, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit of the ZS team, let’s look back at the milestones we reached in 2021.
We are growing worldwide and celebrating over 11,000 ZSers. With this growth, we’ve been able to expand our reach and open an office in Berlin. Today, we have more than 25 offices worldwide, allowing us to connect with more than 1,200 clients across the globe.
With a growing team of ZSers, we’ve been able to promote more people this year than ever before. Nearly 1,800 ZSers have been empowered to create professional success and make an impact with their work. Click here to read about the 900 ZSers promoted last summer.
For the past three years, ZS has cultivated many partnerships aimed at increasing representation, with MBA conferences reaching a 76% interview rate! This year, we launched ZS SEED, an annual cohort development program in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) that offers career accelerating experience to Historically Black Colleges & University (HBCU) students across the US. The inaugural cohort included 15 students from eight HBCUs who completed the three-day ZS SEED Immersion with most invited back to continue in the subsequent apprentice or internship phases beginning in 2022.
This year, we also conducted our first-ever virtual Campus Beats program, ZS's annual campus-engagement drive in India. Despite the event being virtual, we saw an enthusiastic response with 3,000 teams across campuses in India participating in the challenge.
Thanks to ZSers living our values, we have built a culture distinguished by trust, empowerment, support and a boundless drive for innovation. From being named on the list of top 10 companies for women in India to PEOPLE Companies that Care, we are proud of our award recognition as it speaks to our collaborative culture and innovative people. Our full list of awards includes a 100% score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index, earning the Great Place to Work accreditation in India, U.S., UK, Germany and Switzerland, and being named one of the best firms for data scientists in India.
We harness the power of diversity to drive innovation and achieve better results. That is why we’ve launched the Inclusion and Diversity Center of Excellence. As part of the HR team, the Center of Excellence includes diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practitioners focused on fostering an inclusive, diverse and welcoming environment that allows everyone to bring their whole selves to work.
This year, we have also welcomed a new ZSer-led inclusion and diversity group, Asian@ZS, and expanded our corporate social responsibility with Sustainability@ZS. While Asian@ZS is working to support and amplify Asian voice, Sustainability@ZS has done an audit of our environmental impact and released our first sustainability report.
Because of the endless drive of ZSers, we’ve been able to expand our impact. This year, ZS launched ZAIDYN, a platform for life sciences companies of all sizes to digitally transform and scale customer engagement, field performance, analytics and clinical capabilities. To further our growing impact in digital health, we also acquired Medullan, a specialized services and technology firm focused on designing and developing digital health solutions, primarily for the biopharma industry. Bringing ZS and Medullan together has significantly expanded our impact in digital health.
