For the second year in a row, ZS named one of the best companies for women in India

For the second consecutive year, ZS earned a spot on the Avtar and Seramount list of the “Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India.” This year’s list considered over 300 companies, spanning every industrial stratum. This recognition also earned the company a place in Avtar’s Top 100 Hall of Fame for having been recognized in five editions of the rankings. These awards bolster ZS’s growing record of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) achievements.


This year also saw ZS win the “Exemplar of Inclusion” award, acknowledged in the fourth edition of the Most Inclusive Companies Index (MICI) by Avtar and Seramount. The award honors ZS’s focus on DEI, and our contribution to strengthening the spirit of collaboration, where ZSers are empowered to be healthy, happy, successful people who feel comfortable bringing their authentic selves to work.

This recognition from Avtar and Seramount, two pioneers and leaders in promoting DEI in the workplace in India, highlights the culturally driven nature of ZS and its deep commitment to inclusion across gender, identity, generation and disability. At ZS, our people come from diverse walks of life and are encouraged to drive positive changes in their community.

“We believe that Inclusion is intentional and each of us is responsible for it,” adds Neha Arur, regional human resources lead, ZS India. “We also strive for diversity of thought, promoting active listening and support for each other’s individual choices."


The ZS DEI initiative acts on this priority. With broad representation from across the firm, as well as external advisers, this initiative drives positive change in partnership with ZS leadership and our vibrant network of DEI groups: the Black and Hispanic Alliance (BHA), Pride@ZS, Women@ZS, Asian@ZS and Veterans@ZS.
