Avtar and Seramount named ZS one of the Top 10 Best Companies for Women in India for the third year in a row. ZS also has been awarded Exemplar of Inclusion status in the Most Inclusive Companies Index. The index, India’s largest gender analytics study by Avtar, in association with Seramount, sets the standard for best practices around workplace policies by companies making concerted efforts toward diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). ZS also has been placed in the 100 Best: Hall of Fame category for having been featured in the top 100 for five editions of the study’s run.
ZS DEI efforts ensure ZSers feel heard and respected and that equity is engrained in our practices. Through ZSer-led inclusion and diversity groups, every ZSer can help drive positive change.
Women@ZS, for example, offers an array of programming to support women’s growth at different career stages, including leadership development initiatives that help women map out their professional paths. Other such groups include: Accessibility@ZS, Asian@ZS, the Black and Hispanic Alliance, Jewish@ZS, Pride@ZS and Veterans@ZS.
The DEI Center of Expertise, a full-time team of ZS experts within the human resources department, evaluates and provides opportunities on behalf of current and future ZSers. ZS’s global DEI Council, an appointed group of leaders across the firm, is dedicated to listening to and involving the ZS community in setting firmwide DEI strategies and priorities. “Everything we do is guided by our core values: treat people right, get it right and do the right thing—all fundamental to DEI,” says Neha Arur, regional human resources lead, ZS India. “We aspire to provide all ZSers an inclusive environment to thrive and grow through our people programs, make them feel valued for who they are and embrace their diverse perspectives."
Coaching, mentorship and leadership initiatives, such as ZS’s Path to Principle, empower pioneers in technology and creative and analytical thinkers to succeed and grow.
