ZS Associates’ Research Study on Managed Travel 2.0
Until now, Managed Travel 2.0 has been an idea without a well-defined market. Its promise for corporate travel departments is enormous, with transparency in travel spending, comprehensive travel management, and greater choice and flexibility for travelers.
But even with all the promise of Managed Travel 2.0, is there actually a market for it? A new ZS report indicates the answer is a clear yes. In surveying more than 200 travel managers with median annual travel spending of $20 million, ZS found there are a sizable number of companies—nearly one in five surveyed—that have the corporate policies and culture to be viable candidates for Managed Travel 2.0.
This executive summary distills key findings of the ZS study, reveals that there are five distinct segments of corporate travel programs, and offers perspectives on the future of business travel.
