ZS Associates’ Recruitment Privacy Policy

In the context of submitting a job application and resumé/CV (the "application") to ZS Associates, you will provide personal information about yourself to ZS Associates.  This Recruitment Privacy Policy sets forth the principles relating to our handling of such information subsequent to your submission of your application for a position with ZS Associates, Inc., ZS Associates International, Inc., or any of its affiliates or subsidiaries (hereafter referred to as “ZS” or “ZS Associates”).

Any candidate submitting an application to ZS is made aware of the availability of this policy for review.  By submitting your application to ZS (whether electronically or by mail, hand delivery or fax), you acknowledge having read this policy and that you consent to the collection of information and the uses to which it may be applied, according to the principles of the policy as set forth below.  This policy may change at any time. It is, however, as stated, in force as of today.

Recruiting Process and Your Personal Information

ZS Associates will process your application (together with all personal information provided by you) for recruiting purposes only. Such processing may include evaluating your application for other positions with ZS Associates for which you may be interested or qualified. 

You have a right of access to your personal information and a right to correct or modify such information. If you wish to access, correct or modify any information which you have submitted to ZS Associates, you can edit your on-line application once submitted.  You can also contact ZS Associates directly to receive assistance in modifying your submitted application.  Contact information is stated below.

Sensitive Information

ZS Associates does not intend to seek or collect any sensitive information through our website unless it is legally required for recruiting purposes. All references to "sensitive information" are to the various categories of personal data identified by US, Canadian, European, Japanese, Indian or other data privacy laws as requiring special treatment. These categories can include data relating to age, gender, social security number, ethnic origin or race, marital status, political opinions or affiliations, trade union membership, religious beliefs, physical or mental health, sexual orientation or criminal record. We therefore suggest that you do not provide sensitive information of this type to us and we reserve the right to delete any sensitive information from your application.  If you do provide any sensitive information to us, you explicitly consent by doing so to allow us to use such sensitive information in the ways described in this Policy.

Retention

Once the recruitment process is completed, the information which you submitted is retained within our on-line application system for a period of time. You will continue to be considered for positions where your qualifications and experience appear to match. In such cases (where you might be further considered), you will be contacted by ZS to determine your continued interest. 

Use and Transfer

By submitting your application to ZS Associates, you agree that we may use it for recruitment-related purposes, including human resources planning and reporting requirements and other processing relevant to recruitment purposes and that we may transfer the data to other countries or to other companies authorized to perform specific recruiting-related services for ZS Associates and subject to this policy as well. 

As ZS Associates is a global organization with legal entities operating components of our website throughout the world, the foregoing transfers of your personal information and application may be to countries which provide varying levels of protection of personal data.

If you should be hired by ZS as a result of this application, data you provided in the application will be utilized by the firm.  Specifically, a copy of your resume/CV will be available to management and administrative personnel and to human resources personnel within the firm. 

For applicants from outside the United States: please note that your information will be processed and/or stored in our database located in the United States. By submitting your job application to ZS Associates (in whatever form), you are consenting to the export of your information to the United States for processing, storage and use.

Use of Third Parties

We also inform you that ZS Associates may in certain cases use third parties to provide data processing or validation services on its behalf in the recruitment context, and such suppliers are required to protect personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Changes to the Policy

ZS Associates reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time without notice. If we decide to modify this Policy, we will post those changes here so that you will be able to know how we will use the information that is collected about you.
