Role



As the lead of ZS’s global rare disease practice, Jason extends ZS’s unparalleled domain expertise to organizations large and small in the development and commercialization of therapeutics for over 350 million patients. Under Jason’s leadership in the last year, the rare disease practice has supported 87 clients and 50% of global rare disease launches.

Expertise



Through his extensive work with small and mid-size biopharmaceutical companies, Jason has deep expertise across commercial strategy, insights and analytics, and operations—with a specific focus in business development and opportunity assessments, new product launch planning, organizational design and advanced analytics. He has worked across most major therapeutic categories including neuromuscular diseases, hematology and oncology.

Prior experience



Before joining ZS in 2014, Jason worked as the lead clinical research coordinator at Washington Cancer Institute at MedStar Health in Washington, D.C. He also served as a product manager, supporting a multibillion-dollar portfolio for a top five global biopharmaceutical company.

Education



Jason holds an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University, with concentrations in strategy and marketing, and a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Maryland.
