Jim is proud of having helped over 30 oncology Dx and Rx companies grow while bringing innovative products and therapies to market.


As ZS’s West Coast oncology lead, Jim focuses on helping oncology clients in the areas of opportunity assessment, launch planning, go-to-market strategy, commercial effectiveness, portfolio strategy and business development.  Jim is also ZS’s biomarker center of excellence global lead.




Jim’s extensive range of sales and marketing experience evolved from his 20 years as a sales and marketing consultant to the healthcare industry, and from over five years of operational experience as an executive with Nestle Health Sciences. Jim has helped oncology companies grow and develop more sophisticated commercial organizations. He has helped more mature oncology companies seeking to improve their existing commercial infrastructure, skills and capabilities.



Prior experience

Jim was previously the vice president of strategic planning at Nestle Health Sciences and a senior analyst at Accenture.




Jim holds a B.A. in economics from Dartmouth College, and an MBA with honors from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
