Mark is the lead for ZS’s engagement with both a global top 10 and a top 50 pharma organization. As chair of ZS’s client service council, he seeks to not only understand industry needs and trends across top clients in the healthcare domain but also how to implement new services and solutions. Mark is also a leader in customer experience optimization and leads the ZS vertical focused on understanding and optimizing customer experience from insight to action.
Mark has built strong relationships across the entirety of client organizations, such as R&D and commercial to strategy and execution, over a cross section of pharma companies. He has a broad industry perspective that spans all key ZS client pharma organizations.
He has deep therapy area expertise in HIV, rare diseases, vaccines and respiratory conditions and a breadth of experience across commercial, pipeline and clinical strategy, customer experience optimization, commercial advanced analytics, integrated customer insight and launch planning.
He is also passionate about helping young talent identify and reach their potential as the current lead of the ZS program for client service lead partners. In this role, he serves as a new manager training lead and a professional development coach for future leaders in the firm. He believes in ensuring inclusive development opportunities for all and is an EU partner for the Women@ZS program.
Prior to joining ZS, Mark worked as part of a global think tank for the Science and Technology Brief. He also spent time as an academic researcher and teacher in higher and continuing education.
Mark holds a master’s in chemistry and a Ph.D. in chemical physics, both from Oxford University.
