Background and experience
Barrett is a leader within the patient strategy and services team and co-founder of the Women’s Health Expertise Hub, where she focuses on patient experience and strategy. With more than 15 years of experience in design strategy, she specializes in shaping innovative products, services and end-to-end healthcare solutions across the full product life cycle.
Her work is grounded in a deep understanding of human behavior, cultural context and emerging trends. Barrett is known for uncovering nuanced insights that translate into effective, human-centered solutions—particularly in complex healthcare environments. She is especially passionate about advancing women’s health, working to challenge longstanding gaps in how the industry understands, researches and serves women as patients. Through her research and strategy leadership, she helps organizations reframe assumptions, elevate underrepresented needs and design more equitable, effective models of care that better reflect women’s lived experiences.
