Background and experience

Dan leads ZS’s medtech west team and serves as clinical lead for the medtech practice, helping clients enhance sales, service and clinical operations effectiveness. Dan has worked with ZS since 2007, including four years leading ZS’s operations in China. His global experience covers projects in 20 countries in North America, Europe and Asia. He brings innovative thinking to his clients, having led memorable training programs and developed mobile apps to drive behavior change.

Dan has worked with many medtech clients on a wide range of commercial issues including designing and evolving their sales and service teams; building effective incentive compensation programs; building commercial operations capabilities; designing and delivering sales and marketing training programs; assessing market opportunities; optimizing pricing strategies and customizing go-to-market strategies based on customer insight segmentations. He is now working with clinical affairs and operations teams to improve their effectiveness.

Prior to joining ZS, Dan was a strategic consultant at Ernst & Young, BCG and a boutique technology consultancy. He also founded a financial services company in the early internet days.
