Ailie Reasons awarded 2025 HBA Rising Star for her impact on women’s health and ZS
ZS is thrilled to announce that Ailie Reasons has been named a 2025 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association (HBA) Rising Star. At ZS, our culture thrives on passionate leaders who make a difference—not just within our organization, but across the industries we serve. Ailie is one such leader, a rising force in women’s health innovation and gender advocacy.
Where passion changes lives
Ailie is a trusted adviser and marketing strategy expert, with over a decade of experience supporting in-line and pipeline pharmaceutical brands. She’s helped global life sciences companies launch life-changing treatments, combining deep expertise with empathy. Her impact goes beyond insights—she’s a vocal advocate for advancing women’s health, focusing on critical areas like menopause care and maternal mortality.
Clients routinely turn to Ailie in pivotal moments. “She’s the person they call when there’s bad news, good news—or really any significant news,” says Emily Mandell, principal in Evanston. “She delivers fast, thoughtful insights to help them make critical decisions.”
A champion for gender equity
As cofounder and co-lead of ZS’s Women’s Health Expertise Hub, Ailie has built a community of passionate professionals dedicated to improving health outcomes for women worldwide.
“She’s created a space for honest, solution-oriented conversations about the challenges women face—in healthcare and in their careers,” says Meghan McDonald, principal in Philadelphia. “She connects the dots, tells compelling stories and drives meaningful change.”
Ailie’s influence also extends through her leadership with Women@ZS, where she helps shape ZS’s global strategy to ensure women at all stages of their careers feel heard, supported and empowered.
“She mentors, she listens, she leads,” Meghan adds. “Ailie motivates those around her with purpose and humility.”
The heart of ZS’s culture
Ailie represents the very best of ZS—a strategic thinker with heart. Her leadership is grounded in mission, authenticity and service to others. “She’s a leader people flock to,” Emily says. “Beloved by her teams, calm, selfless, capable—and always thinking about what’s best for others.”
From advancing inclusive workplace culture to improving care for underserved populations, Ailie is helping shape a healthier, more equitable world. We’re proud to celebrate her as an HBA Rising Star—and even prouder to call her a ZSer.
