ZS named Great Place to Work® across the globe

We are thrilled to announce that ZS has been recertified as a Great Place to Work. The Great Place to Work® Institute, which anonymously gauges employee satisfaction, has named ZS a Great Place to Work in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Germany, India, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. This award from the global authority on workplace culture is granted only to top employers that offer exceptional employee experiences.

Where passion changes lives

The Great Place to Work evaluation measures employees’ attitudes and perceptions across five key dimensions: credibility, fairness, respect, pride and camaraderie. In the most recent survey, ZSers cited our inclusive, encouraging culture as a top reason they enjoy working here:

ZSers take pride in creating a welcoming, equitable workplace—from companywide bias and hiring training to employee-led inclusion and belonging (I&B) groups and embedding I&B into our client work. Over 90% of ZSers surveyed said people are treated fairly, regardless of age, sexual orientation or race. In 2023, our equity-based leadership program, Path to Principal (P2P), supported more women managers in India with coaching, mentorship, workshops and other leadership development opportunities.

“There is a huge community within ZS that I can lean on,” says Pavithra Kanna, associate principal in our Bengaluru office. “The mentorship I received over the years helped me push myself to accomplish more. At ZS, I feel like I have the power to carve my journey.”

Our New to ZS onboarding program offers comprehensive training, mentorship and peer connection from day one. In the summer of 2023, ZS promoted more than 1,200 ZSers—reinforcing that this is a place where people can thrive.

Collaboration at ZS extends beyond strategic partnerships to action on issues that matter—like health equity, progress on business responsibility and impact (BRI) priorities outlined in our first BRI report, and community engagement. In 2023, more than 1,600 ZSers across 31 offices contributed over 7,000 hours during ZS Cares Day, our annual day of giving.

We prioritize both physical safety and mental well-being to foster a productive, innovative and engaged workforce. This commitment is reflected in our ISO certifications:

• ISO 45001: Occupational health and safety management
• ISO 45003: Psychological health and safety at work

These certifications apply to ZS’s largest offices—covering nearly 80% of employees—and provide a global standard for workplace safety and well-being. As of 2023, ZS is one of the few organizations—and the first in India—to receive ISO 45003 certification for psychological safety.

ZS’s continued investment in a welcoming environment also earned us the Equality 100 Award from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index. In a year when HRC raised its criteria, ZS proudly achieved a perfect score for our LGBTQIA+ workplace policies and practices in the U.S.

ZSers around the world are making a difference—for clients, customers, each other and our collective future. Being recognized for our culture reaffirms that our community is strong, connected and making an impact that matters.
