—ZS to serve local clients with global network of sales and marketing expertise—
EVANSTON, Ill.—Feb. 20, 2014—In a bid to expand client service, improve business operations and strengthen its presence in Brazil, global sales and marketing firm ZS opened a new office in São Paulo. While the firm has served clients in Latin America for most of its history, this is ZS’s first office in the region.
Founded in 1983, ZS has more than 2,500 employees who work in more than 20 offices around the word and consult to companies in healthcare, medical devices and diagnostics, technology and financial services.
“We understand this market and have successfully advised many clients in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agribusiness in Brazil for more than 20 years,” said managing director Chris Wright. “A physical base in the sixth largest economy and pharmaceutical market in the world is a natural progression of our global growth plans. This move will allow us to be closer to our local clients and address their needs even better.”
The São Paulo office—led by Ramsés De La Rosa—is located at Av. Chedid Jafet, 222 - 5o andar, Vila Olímpia. During his 14 years of consulting experience focused on Latin American markets, De La Rosa has counseled clients on commercial strategy and implementation, including sales force productivity, brand planning, forecasting, customer segmentation and targeting, marketing mix optimization, incentive compensation and sales process design. In addition to Latin America, he has also worked with clients in Canada, the United States and Asia.
“Over the years, we have worked with clients in Brazil through hundreds of engagements helping local affiliates and their global corporate offices identify and pursue market entry or expansion opportunities in the Brazilian market,” said De La Rosa. “We look forward to serving our clients in the new São Paulo office and expanding the range of ZS offerings available in Brazil to better meet client needs and contribute to their success.”
Mário Pereira, who has more than 13 years of consulting and commercial strategy experience, will join De La Rosa in the São Paulo office. Pereira has counseled pharmaceutical, biotechnology and agribusiness clients in Brazil, the United States and other Latin America countries in areas such as go-to-market strategy and implementation, sales force effectiveness, product launch and incentive compensation.
