Apoorva brings a programmatic mindset to large operations and analytics engagements leveraging her Six Sigma and process transformation experience.



Role



Apoorva is the India lead for ZS’s client engagement with a top 10 pharma client, and she works across commercial operations functional areas. She also leads the New Delhi office for ZS.

 

As the India lead, she is responsible for ensuring that the global operating model works effectively, drives a cohesive team culture across 100-plus member subteams, strengthens client relationships and brings innovation to the client.

Expertise



Apoorva has built strong relationships with clients and helped grow ZS’s business from its center of excellence office. She has positively impacted many areas and team members, and she continues to foster an environment where the team gets better individually and collectively.

 

She is also very passionate about helping women build successful careers and is a part of Women@ZS. She has brought alternative thinking to many programs to help women at ZS grow professionally.

Prior experience



In the past nine-plus years, Apoorva has worked across insurance, re-insurance, risk and catastrophic modeling, and fraud waste and abuse analytics for a large healthcare payer. She is responsible for several Six Sigma process transformation projects. In addition, she was honored with the 2019 Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Rising Star award, representing ZS among more than 2,000 industry leaders.

Education



Apoorva has a Master’s of Finance and Control degree from the University of Delhi, and an economics degree (with honors) from Lady Shri Ram College. She is certified Lean Six Sigma black belt.
