As the co-lead of ZS’s cell and gene therapy center of excellence and a leader in ZS’s pipeline and launch strategy practice, Katie loves to help clients bring innovative new therapies to patients.

Katie is an associate principal in ZS’s San Francisco office, supporting clients with their pipeline and launch strategy. Katie is one of ZS’s experts in cell and gene therapy, and while she has worked across a number of therapeutic areas, she spends the majority of her time working in oncology. 

Katie’s experience covers a range of issue areas, including pipeline and disease area strategy, opportunity assessment, market research and customer insights, launch preparation and strategy development covering a range of issues. She works in partnership with both commercial and medical teams. 

Before joining ZS, Katie worked in the education sector, first as a classroom teacher in East Palo Alto, Calif., through the Teach for America program, as well as in a development capacity for an education non-profit.

Katie holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, as well as an M.A. in education, a B.S. in marketing and a BFA in musical theater.
