Masa is a principal acting as ZS’s Japan market lead. He has worked with clients from the U.S., Europe and Japan. Using his broad expertise in the Japanese market, Masa has helped multiple pharmaceutical and biotech clients on their go-to-market strategies. He also helps to develop and improve medical affairs functions.
His experience spans a broad spectrum of sales, marketing and medical areas in the pharmaceuticals and medical products industries. He has helped clients design their sales force, improve sales force effectiveness, develop omnichannel strategy and analytics programs, perform acquisition assessments and design and administer incentive compensation plans.
He is also experienced in brand strategy, customer segmentation, targeting, positioning, forecasting, primary market research and pricing and opportunity assessment. Masa is also knowledgeable about market access issues and healthcare regulations.
Masa is a former Fulbright scholar and holds an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University and a B.A. in business and commerce from Keio University.
