Matt is a principal in ZS’s Boston office and a leader in the B2B marketing and pricing practice. 



With experience in industry and professional services roles, Matt’s expertise encompasses multiple industries including medtech, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, energy, telecommunications and basic materials industries. He helps organizations drive margin expansion and build lasting capability in pricing and revenue optimization. Matt specializes in pricing execution, working to build the tools and training that ensure commercial teams continue to capture value long after the project is complete.


Prior experience

Prior to joining ZS, Matt was the vice president of strategy at Raytheon’s IDS business, where he developed and executed their first comprehensive strategic portfolio review. He also spent more than seven years at Johnson Controls, creating and implementing global and regional pricing strategies that contributed more than $150M company operating margin. His career also includes time at McKinsey & Company, where he applied strategic game theory to simulate competitor actions and built lasting pricing capability across a broad range of industries from medtech to telecommunications.




Matt holds an MBA in marketing and finance from the University of Pennsylvania, as well as an M.S. in aerospace engineering. He also holds a B.S. in aerospace engineering from Penn State University.
