Paul helps clients better understand their customers to shape strategy and improve patient outcomes.


Paul is an advisory manager in Chicago, where he works with clients to shape customer strategy and experience. He is also the staff lead of the ZS Research Center, directing teams researching health equity, digital transformation, public health and commercial effectiveness. He is a subject matter expert in diabetes, obesity and related diseases.


Paul works across clients’ commercial and clinical development teams. He enjoys collaborating with clients to solve complex problems, such as how best to respond to key market-shaping events and challenge the status quo. For example, he has helped clients integrate customer data with the latest in AI and machine learning technologies to evolve strategy to better meet customer needs. He also has worked with multifunctional teams to apply the latest regulatory and market-shaping trends to clinical development and early commercialization strategy.


Paul holds a Ph.D. in pathology and infectious diseases from the University of Cambridge, along with a B.A. in German and a B.S. in microbiology from Auburn University in Alabama.
