As the custom development capability lead, Sunil is primarily driven by solving complex client business problems with a combination of niche technology and simple, usable solution design skills.


Sunil has over 18 years of IT and engineering experience and is focused on leading and developing ZS’s custom applications development capability for the business technology capability group. He also helps clients adopt innovative solutions with the intelligent application of digital technology and user experience from pre-sales to delivery. Sunil is also an Agile and Watergile process champion and enthusiast, and continues to work with client teams to structure Agile programs and set up and streamline Agile development processes.


Sunil has played various roles at ZS: He has worked with the software development group to develop one of its flagship products in resource alignment planning deployment (Javelin Alignment Manager). He also worked with the business technology group leading one of its flagship solutions in the BI analytics space (ARTiS). He also currently manages clients and technology engagements across North America, Europe and APAC in the BI and custom applications technology space.


He is a frequent contributor and driver of several strategic leadership programs and practice-oriented initiatives such as ZS’s culture and values work stream and the people engagement program. 

Prior experience

Prior to ZS, Sunil was an independent technology consultant where he helped clients build cutting-edge solutions for web, mobile and tablet devices using an optimized combination of onshore and offshore development talent. His global experience and entrepreneurial, business and technology skills have helped him gain client confidence and trust in a short span of time.


His experience includes working across industry domains including life sciences, government, sales, retail, travel and transportation, hospitality and leisure, e-commerce, banking and financial services.


Sunil holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from K.K. Wagh College of Engineering.
