Aki leads ZS’s Osaka office and heads clinical development, medical and R&D excellence in East Asia. He has dedicated his career to helping Japanese and global pharma clients improve outcomes through integrated strategies across the R&D-to-commercial continuum.

Aki uses his 20-plus years of cross-functional experience in life sciences to guide pharma and medtech clients across R&D, medical and commercial domains. He has led engagements in sales force design, launch strategy, omnichannel marketing, medical impact measurement and field medical effectiveness. Aki also brings deep expertise in data strategy and enterprise technology implementation, helping firms adopt AI-driven tools and expand successfully into global markets.

Aki holds an M.S. in management and a B.S. in mathematics and economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Aki is a native Japanese speaker and is fluent in English.
